Birmingham Empowering Sistersfriends (B.E.S.) Chapter

Volunteering and Fundraising are two events that go hand and hand in a successful organization. In continuing our success, BES has, and will continue to use these venues in our efforts to enrich and uplift the community through personal and financial commitment.

This groups on-going community service project is "Jessie's Place", a place for women and children seeking assistance both personally and financially. In order to volunteer with this group, an individual must first attend orientation class, which are held on the 1st Saturday of each month at 10:30 am. To schedule your orientation class please call (205) 323-0170.

We welcome all individuals that would like to participate in this project with BES. BES day of volunteering at Jessie's Place is every Thursday from 6pm-8pm.

Other community service and fundraising projects are listed below. If there is a project that you would like to see this group involved in or if your organization is seeking volunteers, please send us an email. We are always open to suggestions.
